Okay, well, there’s not much in this about coffee shops, but I like my title and I’m sticking with it.
Today is my first day of eating completely plant-based. I love it! I’ve had a bunch of energy all day. If you’re interested in what I ate, I had:
1 Vegetarian Blueberry Pancake (my mom made it, she’s a vegetarian.)
1 Chik’n sammich with Vegan mayo and lettuce on an Ezekiel English muffin
23987493247893847932847 Grapes (I didn’t keep track.)
1 Rip’s Big Bowl (probably the single best cereal on the planet, if you’ve never had it, look it up right now)
1 Container of Quinoa Salad
I haven’t eaten it yet, but maybe a slice of vegan pizza. I might add some Daiya with it :3
I used to not like quinoa very much, but now I absolutely crave it. My mom’s buying some tomorrow so that we can make quinoa pancakes. Yum. I think I’m going to go make tea.
I’m really trying hard to be a vegan, but whenever my friends have stuff that isn’t vegan and I don’t have any food, I eat it just because it’s there. For example, we have rehearsal almost every day this week, and the only healthy snack we’ve had for a while was oranges at yesterday’s rehearsal. There are almost always pretzels and junk food at the table, and after school, we go straight into the cafeteria (We have a stage in our lunch room) and we (the theatre kids) have conditioned ourselves to eat right after school, and in my case, that happens even when I don’t have rehearsal. If you live in Texas like I do, you know that there really ain’t much to do here except eat. Yesterday at lunch, I packed myself a really nice salad, and my friend was generous enough to give out her nutella sandwich. And being the hipster I am, I was all “LOL I’LL TAKE IT!” and I didn’t even think about being a vegan. It was on white bread with the crust cut off, too. That’s super unhealthy, and I felt so guilty after I ate it. How do I stop cheating on my “lifestyle choice”? I love having all of this healthy food, but it’s so hard when there are other people around me eating the foods I love. If you have any advice, would you please put it in my ask? Thank you so much, and stay fit, everyone!
Recently, my mom and I have been eating SUPER healthy. We’re kinda on this thing called the Engine 2 Diet, but we’re not following it exactly. I don’t know if I’ve lost any weight, (I’m scared to look.) but my mom has already lost 8 pounds!
We’ve been going to the gym every weekend.
If you guys want, I’ll post a recipe for a smoothie that I have every morning. It’s DELICIOUS, and super duper uber healthy.
Thank you for all of your support! (:
Any 14-16 year olds that want to loose a little bit of weight the healthy way?
CW around 125
and GW around 115
would be greatly appreciated, but isn’t necessarily required, I’d just like to see some blogs similar to mine. (:
